Purpose: To honor Lt. Michael P. Murphy, who died in Afghanistan in 2005 trying to save the lives of his men. Read more history here:
Task:
(Gold division/Outdoor version)
1 mile run, 100 pullups, 200 pushups, 300 squats, 1 mile run, with a 20lb weight vest, or
(Silver division/Indoor optional)
"Mini Murph" = 1/2 the reps and distance of Murph, no vest
ALL participants must memorize 1 military speech (100 word minimum) before the challenge and recite it from memory after the final run portion.
+50 burpee penalty (gold division) or
+25 burpee penalty (silver division) for failing to get it right!
Your time will stop when burpees are completed.

May 19th, 2025 through June 2nd, 2025.

We will do the challenge and then get drinks or food and hang out!
