Purpose: To honor the march for farm workers labor rights in 1966 Cesar Chavez did from Delano to Sacramento, CA (208 miles)
*Task: (Gold division/Outdoor version)
2.8 mile Farmer's Carry with ~1/2 bodyweight, or
(Silver division/Indoor version)
2.8 kilometer Farmer’s Carry with ~1/4 Bodyweight, on a treadmill
When: Anytime from March 24th - April 7th
IF you are in the Seattle-Tacoma area come out and do it WITH Tyler on March 30th, ~2:30 pm here: Chambers Creek Rd W, University Place, WA 98467 (the Labyrinth)
We will do the challenge and then get drinks or food and hang out!

TFC is an online fitness community with an emphasis on giving back to those who need it around the world.
TFC is a company built around individual charity challenge events, read about those below. They are a way for us to each stay on top of our fitness throughout the year, and give back to the community. There are 7 events every year to to conquer yourself!
In addition, there are 5 Instagram LIVE Fitness Contests, which are FREE to participate in, either you guess Tyler's completion time, or you submit your videos to Tyler and if you beat his time, you can earn future challenge credits.
Yes, only individuals over 18 years old can enter. There is no other benchmark to participate.
A phone or camera to record various parts of the challenge is required, but everything else is entirely dependent on the event. Apps like "Strava," are useful to show proof of completion.
There will be 7 Holiday Charity Events in 2025+
1) Martin Luther King Jr. Day (The Southern Christian Leadership Conference) "Selma to Montgomery" Challenge: (Gold division/Outdoor version) 54 mile run/walk, completed in under 54 hours or (Silver division/Indoor version) 54 mile bike in under 5.4 hours (5 hours and 24 minutes)
2) Cesar Chavez Day (Farm Workers Justice) "Bringer of the bells"
Challenge: (Gold division/Outdoor version) 2.8 mile Farmer's Carry with ~1/2 bodyweight, no straps or (Silver division/Indoor version) 2.8 kilometer Farmer’s Carry with ~1/4 bodyweight on a treadmill
3) Memorial Day (The Murph Foundation) "Murph Memory Memorial" *
Challenge: (Gold division/Outdoor version) 1 mile run, 100 pullups, 200 pushups, 300 squats, 1 mile run or (Silver division/Indoor version) "Mini" Murph Challenge = ½ the reps and distance of the Murph. *TriumFit twist: before the challenge participants must memorize 1 military speech, and recite it after the final run portion (100 word minimum), or add 50 burpees (Gold division) or 25 burpees (Silver division) to your time!
4) Juneteenth (FreeTheSlaves.net) "Abode on the Underground Railroad"
Challenge: (Gold division/Outdoor version) 19 mile walk, walking 1st and last mile barefoot or (Silver division/indoor optional) 19 kilometer walk,
walking 1st and last mile barefoot
5) 4th of July (Action Against Hunger) "Feast and Fast"
Challenge: (Gold division) Eat 10,000 calories in one day and then complete a 48-hour fast or (Silver division) 5,000 calorie feast + 24 hour fast
6) September 11th (911 Tower Challenge Foundation) "Remember, Remember, the Stairs of September"
Challenge: (Gold division/Outdoor version) 110-flight stair climb with a 71-lb ruck, in a stadium or structure, or (Silver division/Indoor version) 110-flights of stairs climbed on a Stairmaster
7) Veterans Day (Soldiers On Singletrack) "Trench Warfare"
Challenge: (Gold division/Outdoor version) Building a Marine Corps 'Fighting Hole' (2.5'x6' trench, chest deep) or (Silver division/Indoor version) Complete the “Chad” Workout-1,000 reps of a 20 inch-box step up. Both divisions must write a hand written letter to a veteran to complete the challenge!
The cost is $50 to enter and 50% (instead of the regular 10%) of profits will go directly to the charities above after the challenge
Any athlete who completes the Outdoor version can purchase a commemorative GOLD Challenge Coin*, upon completion of the event (coins are in production)
Any athlete who completes the Indoor version can purchase a commemorative SILVER Challenge Coin*, upon completion of the event (coins are in production)
*First 10 athletes who complete a Gold division event, will receive their GOLD Challenge coin for FREE
*First 10 athletes who complete a Silver division event, will receive their SILVER Challenge coin for FREE
